What is Bug Sweeping? Definition

Bug sweeping is a common term for TSCM. It is the application of a TSCM (technical surveillance counter measures) survey or inspection.

It involves ensuring an area is free from technical surveillance that compromises privacy. It’s nothing like the Hollywood depictions of sweeping! It’s a service which requires specialist measurement equipment and a trained and experienced operator to interpret the measurements and investigate anomalous aspects of the task environment.
